Option to Disable Requests for Unreleased Content

I’d like to request a feature for Jellyseerr: the ability to disable requests for unreleased content that haven’t yet been released in theaters or digitally.

Lately, I’ve noticed users on my server requesting titles that aren’t even out yet, which causes confusion and clutters the request queue with content that simply isn’t available. I totally understand the excitement, but from a management perspective, it would be extremely helpful to prevent requests for unreleased titles until they’re at least available.

A simple toggle option to block these unreleased items from being requested would be a great addition for admins who want a more curated and realistic request environment.

I don't understand how this isn't the top-requested feature. Is there a duplicate somewhere that's getting more traction? It feels like a bug that Seerr even allows unreleased content to show up. Surely we can figure out a toggle to hide unreleased content.

It is not a bug. This is a nice-to-have feature for only some users. Lots of users use seerr to request unreleased content as thats literally a big usecase for what arr is designed for. MONITORING. Which literally grabs when the content releases.
