To get the app, visit this page to download:
Download claudeInsight from GitHub Releases
- Open the release page link above.
- Find the latest release at the top of the page.
- Under the release assets, download the Windows file.
- If the file is a
.zip, right-click it and choose Extract All. - Open the extracted folder.
- Double-click the app file to start it.
If Windows asks for permission, choose Yes.
If your browser blocks the file, pick Keep or Download anyway and then open the file after it finishes.
After you open claudeInsight for the first time:
- Start the app.
- Point it to your Claude history folder or import your saved chat files.
- Let it scan the data.
- Wait for the first index to finish.
- Use search to check that your chats appear.
If you have many chats, the first scan can take a bit longer. Later scans should be faster.
