Potential addition of Shared k-NN Graph function

Hi,

I've noticed that in libraries like Seurat, a shared k-NN graph is constructed. Aside from kNN being implemented in other libraries as a general standard, why hasn't a shared k-NN been implemented? It would be interest to compare its effect on clustering with a normal kNN.
