Hi, I'm Saumita Haldar 👋 And I'm a Data Professional. 💼📊

I'm currently working as an AI/ML Research Assistant. I've been a Credit Risk Specialist.

I've worked as a Credit Risk Analyst at a bank for almost 6 years, before which I've worked as an Application Support Analyst at an IT services and Consulting company. Throughout my career, I have worked with data across different domains to enable decision-making at businesses - from operations optimisation ⚙️, customer retention 🤝, revenue growth 💰, or risk management 🚨.

🎓 I'm excited to have recently completed my Master's in Data Science & AI, which has introduced me to a whole new set of advanced tools and technologies, which I am absolutely loving to explore! I'm currently contributing to a collaborative research on automating the evaluation of quality of customer reviews, using machine learning and natural language processing (NLP).

I have over 6 years of experience in SQL (in both app support and credit risk roles), and 2 years of experience in Python and machine learning.
