To duplicate:

  1. Create a group (call it something other than 'admin')
  2. Either edit an existing collection or start creating a new collection
  3. Under the "Share work with groups of users" label, attempt to select a group

Things to notice:

  • The only group in the list is "admin", regardless of what groups actually exist
  • Selecting the "admin" group and giving access permissions works, even if there is no "admin" group.
  • Giving the "admin" group the same access more than once is possible, and the duplicate permissions are maintained after a save
  • The label says "Share work with groups of users" even though a collection is being edited, not a work

@bbranan @hannahfrost @jcoyne Since groups are not yet fully implemented, we should decide how high of a priority this is.

I think this is because the groups in Hyku are not well integrated to the groups in Hyrax. See https://github.com/samvera-labs/hyku/blob/master/app/models/user.rb#L46-L49
