The status of a comic strip is currently displayed with a black foreground over a background coloured with a darker version of the comic colour. In some cases this results in a very poor contrast between the the darkened background colour and black.
An idea to solve that à priori:
Allow for an extra field named titleColor in a comic's info.json, which contains the colour for the title of the comic on its cover.
Also use this titleColor as the foreground colour of the status icon and text (still over a darkened background colour).
This way the titleColor and the background colour of covers can always be chosen to provide a stark contrast between each other.
Comment by olf: I am not sure that this effort is worth it to address this minor issue.
