Set of Domoticz Events scripts writen in python or DzVents
Python script which is getting data from chmi.cz parsing them to find level of Nezarka river in Lasenice and finaly updating dummy device in Domoticz.
The script is written in DzVents. It is periodicaly updating weather data on weather server / servers base on information stored in Domoticz.
- From version 1.1 it supports multiple WU like servers with update interval 30 seconds. It is tested with weatherundergroud.com and pocasimeteo.cz. It works but ... There is no issue with weatherundegroud.com - it works without any problems. Pocasimeteo.cz doesn't work properly due to no data in response. It works but it produces error message in Domoticz log for every single update which means every 30 seconds. Possible solution is to call curl instead of using internal openURL function. It has not been tested yet but anyway it is not nice solution.
- In version 1.2 APRS support has been added. Update interval is set to 5 minutes. It calls external script which allows various ways how to sent APRS updates. The example of script is short bash script aprs_send which is updating WX status via TCP/IP (Internet) using APRS-IS server. APRS reporting is tested and it works properly. You can find example of shell script in shell_scripts folder.
- Open Weather Map repporting has been added to version 1.5. There is also small shell script which helps to create new PWS in OWM database in shell_script folder. The update interval for OWM is currently set to 5 minutes
- From version 1.6 Rain Rate and Wind Gust are reported as maximum values from update interval.
- The reporting to Weathercloud has been added in version 1.7.
It is pure helper script for main shell script. The purpose of it is to periodicaly start shell script which is getting image from WX camera and sending it via ssh tunnel to external server. In fact it can be easily done with cron but I would like to have everythig on one place - in Domoticz.
