When having a dedicated monitor and/or secondary machine on the desk I'm getting a little eye twitch every time the "News" (Bi-Weekly Live Stream) field refreshes, this seems unnecessary distracting as there is no new news.
The second machine on which the Portmaster UI homepage is on top and it draws my eye towards it every time that thing refreshes (every minute or so) same goes for when Portmaster is in focus on my secondary monitor, if no new news is found can this animation be turned off?
Why do you and others need this?:
It's good to call for attention but only when there is a real need for it else it will become distracting and people are likely to numb out on it, can either the refresh rate be changed of the section or only refresh when there is news and/or more than one news items.
Perhaps stop refreshing after showing x number of times.
