We run CI and other testing jobs with s3gw telemetry enabled. On start of radosgw we send telemetry. This generates a lot of noise at little value.

Fixing this requires adding --rgw-s3gw-enable-telemetry 0 to all tools that run radosgw:

  • s3tr - 100s of sends
  • smoke tests
  • integration tests
  • local dev envs
  • benchmark tool
