WebdriverIO Component Testing Examples

This repository contains several examples for testing web components using WebdriverIO. They are using different frameworks and set-ups and we will continue to add more examples as we improve support for more environments. All examples use WebdriverIO v8 and the @wdio/browser-runner to run tests within the browser environment.

Current examples are:

• lit-typescript-vite: Lit + TypeScript compiled with Vite
• preact-typescript-vite: Preact + TypeScript compiled with Vite
• react-typescript-vite: React + TypeScript compiled with Vite
• svelte-typescript-vite: Svelte + TypeScript compiled with Vite
• vue-typescript-vite: Vue.js + TypeScript compiled with Vite
• nuxt: Nuxt
• solidjs-typescript-vite: Solid.js + TypeScript compiled with Vite
• enhance: Enhance
• create-react-app: Create React App
• stencil-component-starter: Stencil Component Starter using Stencil

Usage

You can test component testing with WebdriverIO using given examples by:

1. Switch to the desired example directory

   cd ./<example-directory>

2. Install dependencies:

   npm install

3. Run WebdriverIO tests:

   npm run wdio
