@bors r+ We should really figure out the zlib situation, I am unhappy with the sporadic "sometimes zlib support" we have today. But this doesn't seem like it's making it any worse. |

…ulacrum Disable zlib in LLVM on Haiku PR rust-lang#72696 enabled the option LLVM_ENABLE_ZLIB for the LLVM builds. Like NetBSD and aarch64-apple-darwin (see PR rust-lang#75500), the LLVM build system not explicitly linking to libz on these platforms cause issues. For Haiku, this meant the runtime loader complaining about undefined symbols..

Enable zlib in LLVM on aarch64-apple-darwin Works on macOS 13.4, Xcode version 14.3.1.0.1.1683849156 This was disabled in rust-lang#75500 on Apple Silicon Developer Transition Kit, but Apple appears to have fixed their zlib now

For some reason, building rustc on the Apple Silicon DTK fails with some undefined symbols from zlib, which I guess is similar to some issues that appeared on *-apple-ios and *-apple-tvos.
