Buildsystem patches #394
Conversation
On some platform (OS X), llvm needs macros like __STDC_LIMIT_MACROS defined in order to work, which is normally defined in llvm-config. This patch modifies the config to use CFG_LLVM_ROOT's llvm-config if it exists, which fixes the compile failures.
This fixes compiling the fuzzer application.
Just aded another patch that fixes (for me at least) compiling the fuzzer on OS X. librustc.dylib needed rustllvm std to link. |
Hey. These are great, have you filed contributor paperwork with moz before? It's just a matter of attesting (with a paper trail) that the code you write is your own and you're allowed to be contributing it. (Not copyright assignment or anything) |
Thanks! I have not yet filed any paperwork. I'll try to get that sent in today. |
Integrated, thanks! |
Adding accept4 function accept4 is a version of accept that takes flags. It is more efficient for certain use cases, and has a more modern path inside the kernel.

Good morning. These two patches fix some problems I was having with the build system:
CFG_LLVM_ROOT
, it will use it to determine the cxxflags and ldflags. This was needed to get macros like__STDC_LIMIT_MACROS
defined properly. If it doesn't find one, it falls back to the old behavior for windows.src/rt/rust_builtins.cpp
. It's possible that instead of erroring out the build system should just fall back onto gcc. Would that be better?
