Is there anything I can do to test this on MacOs + Silicon CPU?

I don't know much about macOS, but assuming you have a working SBCL, you could try building it (probably from the REPL with (asdf:make "kiln"), and see if you get an executable. I don't know how you would go about adding it to the PATH, but I imagine you could at least test it out from the Kiln directory and see if ./kiln self-test passes.
