Chrome OS is unique in that when certain elements of Ruffle are working ok on pc and other linux systems, sometimes they are not on Chrome OS (even when they work on on PC in chrome). For instance, Ridesims.com is a great example of this where the emulator is just too slow to even remotely be usable due to the way Ruffle is working with Chrome OS. Chrome OS is also the main choice for so many educational institutions especially in the US where entire schools and school systems rely on them. This direct impact brings us to the extreme need to get Chrome OS integrated properly so that Ruffle Content is working smoothly on these devices. For instance I use the Samsung Chromebook Plus V1 (2017) which runs on Chrome OS; KEVIN. The device handles everything except ruffle very well in terms of graphics and network.
My question is can we institute a specific label for Chrome OS issues with Ruffle here? It would be much easier that way and much more efficient for devs to be able to see the difference between issues with Chrome browsers on other platforms versus Chrome OS itself. Eventually you may need further separation of the various chrome os iterations such as KEVIN, but for the most part and where we are now, a ChromeOS label/tag is very important.
