The problem

when adding the fan entity to the overview i can turn on/off the fan but the speed bar has no effect, i cannot control between the off and on for low or medium or high speed, it is even on or off

Environment

i am using ubuntu 20.04 and i installed VM that holds my home assistant

  • Localtuya version: v3.2.2
  • Home Assistant Core version: core-2021.7.4
  • [] Are you using the Home Assistant Tuya Cloud component ?
  • Are you using the Tuya App in parallel ?

Steps to reproduce

  1. after configuring my device and hitting submit (i choose fan as type)
  2. when i click on my entity i can turn on and off but no control in between
  3. when i show it in the overview, the same behavior happens.

Have you worked out what the DPS values for the speed?

I have put a pull request in for updating to the new fan percentage configuration.

#542 has been merged, is this now closable?
