Being able to assign key bindings is great. But every OS X user is going to 
need to change them. I'll be happy to use conditional statements to create more 
appropriate default bindings for OS X if you'll incorporate them into the code.

Sure. Just post the usual key bindings (see shortcuts.cpp for actions list) - 
and I'll put them in
