Improve gist return

The gist class is extremely frustrating to work with. Unless I'm doing something wrong, the actual gist ids are inaccessible. e..g.

I would love to just have a simple data.frame (or list that can be easily flattened) to work with for a practical use case other than uploading. like

 filter(title = "temp") %>%
delete

I realize the gist ids are in x[[1]]$id

so is x$id to hard to get to? or is that easy enough?

it's rather difficult data to coerce into a data.frame but we can try

performing operations on gists from a table

and those gists are deleted silently (no output)

dplyr already has tbl() function, so probably should avoid that, which I originally had
