Is this fork still necessary, or does main btcd work now?

Quite a few tutorials still point to this fork as being necessary to run lnd, is that still true?

Would be awesome if you could direct people back to main btcd if it's no longer the case.

@paulfurley This fork has been retired for a long time now. To run btcd with lnd we now use the main site https://github.com/btcsuite/btcd .

Thanks, at the time I wrote this there were several tutorials online pointing to this repo. No idea if this is still the case. Happy to close this once the README is updated to tell people not to use this. Save the next person the time I wasted!
