Is it possible to load remote assets into a
<ModelLayer>? I haveglbs that I'd like to display on the map, and they are loaded from a server as a list of URLs.Currently using
"@rnmapbox/maps": "^10.1.37"with mapbox v11What I've tried so far:
Update:
I hard-coded the model url to use https://github.com/rnmapbox/maps/raw/refs/heads/main/example/src/assets/sportcar.glb, and that works. Are there any considerations when hosting the files? I currently have them uploaded to Firebase with a mime-type of
model/gltf-binary. I can download them from the URL and open them up just fine locally.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
