Start new session button doesn't work

Describe the bug
After 15 minutes of inactivity the session expires, and the altert modal appears as normal. Clicking on the "Start new session" button does nothing.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to 'Home'
2. Stay inactive for more than 15 minutes
3. Go to 'Plot'
4. Click on the "Start new session" button on the alert modal
5. Nothing happens

Expected behavior
A new session should be started, redirecting the user to the home page
