The Redis Administration page (https://redis.io/topics/admin) has important information on setting up a stable production server - this page should be linked to from the quickstart guide.

Some of the hints should probably go directly into the quickstart, e.g. making sure the server has access to twice the memory or persistence and replication can fail.
