Make the Wiki Helpful #23

Make the github wiki for the gem helpful. Perhaps put some guidelines, examples, etc. there.

Also, as older methods are deprecated in favor of a unified interface, perhaps provide transition guides for those looking to upgrade their scripts.

Bumping, I'll be working on stuff around this gem and may end up updating it along with examples and the wiki.

Hopefully the wiki is now helpful. As we add new features and release new versions, there are now changelogs and walk-throughs.
