To serve as an Epic. The goal is for the extensions team to create different sets of API's (ex: this.$rancher.$k8s.loadResource()) to improve they way developers in general interact with the Rancher Dashboard codebase.

  • Create API layer to improve the registering of all elements related to an extension (registering a product, resource page, virtual page, basicType, weightType, etc, etc)
  • Create Rancher API for k8s resources #10097
  • Create API to interact with modals, growls and other interactive pieces of UI
