I'm Raissa (π ha-ee-sa) Mendonca. I work as the chief data manager for the H2Ohio Wetland Monitoring Program, which is a branch of the state-wide, collaborative H2Ohio water quality initiative. As part of the WMP team I'm specifically tasked with building tools for complete and consistent (meta)data collection using Esri Survey123, creating automated quality control steps for all our data streams using Python and GitHub Actions, and mucking around in some cool wetlands when I can π. I got my PhD in Ecology researching nickel biogeochemistry in stream systems, specifically looking at the role of metal oxides on nickel bioavailability (thompson repo) and microbial ecotoxicology (redox-tox repo).
- π» Iβm currently working on developing training materials for Esri Survey123 and GitHub for the WMP team.
- π§ I'm in the process of setting up @h2ohio-wmp for collaborative and transpararent data collection.
- π± I'm learning more about EML, xml, JavaScript, and Shell.
