Ability to repeat an existing search tab. #17184
Comments
In addition to this I've always wanted to be able to copy the original search text back to the search box in case you just need to change it a little and not type out the whole thing again. That could be the default behavior when refreshing the search, or a separate action. e.g. Each search tab has a context menu with entries
|
Perhaps clicking each search tab should replace the search box content with the text that was used for that tab (the text is the label on the tab - so that could just be copied back to the search box). That way you could optionally edit the text and then click the search button to perform the search again. This doesn't even need any UI changes. |
@bartonnen That would certainly be a quick-fix partial-solution. It would create a new tab, which is not ideal - but I could live with that. |
Yes that would certainly be acceptable if the UI changes are not possible. |
Any chance this could be implemented? (when clicking a search tab copy the text from the tab label to the search box) |
Suggestion
Can we please have a minor enhancement where you can repeat a search for the selected search tab?
i.e. a Refresh button and / or right click on the search tab?
Use case
You do a search for a torrent that you are expecting to be published soon, and it is not yet published. Then you do a whole lot of other searches. A few hours later you want to repeat the search but don't want to have to retype the search terms again.
