V4.4.2 Files not being moved from temp location to main save folder once finished downloading, only started with this update #16731
Comments
Can't reproduce. Do you alter any settings when adding the torrents? e.g. manual or automatic mode, are they added from a watched folder, do you deselect any files, do you use "Don't create subfolder"? |
Nope no settings changed, the only change was updating to the current version, no settings altered while adding the torrents it's all automatic and the folders have been set up for years, the torrents are downloaded "as they are" and I don't use the "Don't create subfolder setting" Everything was working perfectly before, as in, as soon as the file finished downloading it would turn to blue text while "moving" and then start uploading, now it simply goes from downloading to stalled and doesn't move the files any more or start uploading |
Maybe you are affected by #16074? |
Please select one of torrents and get a screenshot of general tab with ‘Pieces:’ in view. |

qBittorrent & operating system versions
qBittorrent v4.4.2
OS Windows LTSC v10.1.17763 build 17763
What is the problem?
Files that have finished downloading in the temporary folder are no longer being moved to the main save folder after downloading and now remain as "stalled / black text"
This feature was working perfectly until I updated to this new version V4.4.2 today\
Steps to reproduce
Start any torrent download with settings set to use a temporary folder for incomplete files
Wait for the file to finish downloading
Then watch as the file changes to "stalled" still with the download arrow despite at being 100% downloaded.
Instead of getting the "moving" text / blue text colour for the download it simply stays as black / stalled and never moves out of the temp download folder
