qBittorrent-4.3.3 runs out of memory on FreeBSD with libtorrent 2.0.2 #14512
Comments
On my computer qBittorrent's desktop version works in a very high memory:
It is qBittorrent-4.3.3, libtorrent-rasterbar-2.0.2. Does qBittorrent-4.3.3 leak memory? |
Right after launch the desktop app goes unreasonably high in memory:
|
Is it possible to recompile and test with 1.2.x series? While qbt compiles with 2.0.x series we don't officially support it. Also those series haven't received other adoption yet so they may be quite untested and contain such bugs. |
qBittorrent is still not ready for general use with libtorrent 2.x, there are PRs targeting master in progress for this, but problems with 4.3.3 are not an issue IMO. |
I try deluge 2.0.3 ,have same problem, libtorrent-rasterbar 2 is not ok? |
Are you guys looking at actually used memory (i.e., is this memory really unable to be used by other applications)? See https://www.linuxatemyram.com/. |
qbittorrent begin downloads ,I disconnect my ssh connection. |
With libtorrent-rasterbar-2.0.5 the memory in qBittorrent goes up into hundreds of gigabytes on FreeBSD:
|
Please provide the following information
qBittorrent version and Operating System
4.3.3, FreeBSD 12.2
If on linux, libtorrent-rasterbar and Qt version
libtorrent-rasterbar-2.0.2
What is the problem
