Remove the assumptions about the knowledge of other programming languages or technologies from the tutorial section.

The tutorial section should as accessible as possible, aiming especially at the beginners.
For some of them python is their first introduction to the world of technology itself.

Beginner in Python is not necessary the beginner in programming. References to other programming languages can actually help if the user knows any other programming language. "Like in other programming languages" saves their time, allows them to skip part of the text that repeats what they already know and not try to find out the differences.

This issue specifically targets "The Tutorial" section. This section of the docs is, in my opinion, visited mainly by beginners. I can back this with my experience as a PyLadies lecturer.
I understand your point and I have nothing against references to other programming languages and technologies in other parts of the Python docs.
