Original issue in #4396

Some further work shown in https://gist.github.com/brandonwillard/10f8bdfe1c307c590472f73500f6ae67 (from the Aeppl issue aesara-devs/aeppl#33)

Some nice foundational work was already done, would need to actually incorporate it with PyMC
