Description of the bug

On the design from https://www.printables.com/model/772340-mega-deck-box-9-decks I'm unable to MMU-paint (smart filll) the logo and text of the lid. Painting anything outside of the logo and text does work. Why don't I get a selection when I put my mouse cursor inside the text/logo, but do get one when outside?

It does work in Bambu Studio

(Fellow user with a workaround) Right click the object and split to parts. That lets you select the faces for smart fill, but I guess it would be simpler/neater to select the colour for the parts with the drop down menus on each object in the list.
