Provide a way to edit existing categories

It would be nice to produce a listing of all existing categories with the ability to change their properties (e.g. the name).

This should be accessible via the application action menu (top shell bar), similar to the preferences. A potential menu entry name for now could be "Manage data".

Once this is implemented, corresponding solutions for other object types may be added.
