[Examples] Fix cluster conformance for examples

Right now none of our examples pass the conformance tests. That's fun. They should.

There's a bit of a catch-22 here because if we add conformance checks to all the examples in the CI then whoever makes the new DM dump is responsible for updating all the examples, AND the devs can't get ahead of the DM XML. None the less, closer would be better and we can sort out the CI some other time.
