Column content is cropped/trimmed when using variables in value

Is there an existing issue for this?

• I have searched the tracker for existing similar issues and I know that duplicates will be closed

Describe the Issue

As you can see in the video, the content of the columns is cropped long before the column is at its maximum. It crops too soon with normal values as well, but if you introduce variables it becomes even worse.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Create a new environment
2. Add a regular long value
3. Add a long value with a variable (i.e. {{spam}}).
4. Resize the column and notice that it's trimming the contents of the column long before it should

Thanks for reporting @wolph. I added a feature label to have Product take a look and determine whether this is something we'll take on to have more content displayed in the resizing of a column, and have consistency between variable values and regular text.
