Allow hiding certain tabs

I think the editor is really good, but really wish there was the option to hide a lot of features added in comparison to VSCode.

This is a standard picture of the editor, and I think it should allow for hiding certain parts. For example, without the following parts highlighted in red would allow for a much more cleaner interface

In my opinion it occupies a lot of screen space and makes the editor feel bloated. It could allow hiding these parts or moving some of the buttons somewhere else

• For the top bar, you can already today do "View: Toggle Top Bar Visibility" to toggle it away (or back).
• For the editor action bar, we are tracking the ability to toggle it away in Replace existing editor.actionBar.enabled setting with new setting that disables editor action bar for specific file types #7270, if you'd like to take a look and give a 👍.
• For the console action bar, we do not have any work tracked to make that toggle-able. If you'd like to open a feature request, please feel free to do so but I will say that there is a lot of important functionality on that bar that is difficult to make available in a different way.
• For the status bar on the bottom, you can already today do "View: Toggle Status Bar Visibility" to toggle it away (or back).

Most of the bars that were bothering are what you mentioned, thank you for pointing it out! I just hadn't look much into it. Don't think there is a big need for the console action bar. Probably will close this discussion now...
