Open usage of mock container/database/syncengine?

As part of integrating usage of the SyncEngine it would be really helpful if I could add tests as well as preview parts of my features which rely on synced data.

At the moment I have to resort to either transforming and injecting information about the share or manually test on devices/simulators which have sharing support; both of which are not ideal.

I see that there are a number of mocks which are defined as package final and thus not available to import, is there any consideration about opening these up even with the caveat that they should be considered "unstable" and could break without warning?

Hi @davidrothera, while we do not expose the mocks themselves, the SyncEngine will use them during testing and previews. You should even be able to emulating sharing by calling the syncEngine.share(for:) method in tests.

Can you try writing some tests and let us know if the tools work for you?
