I am an evolutionary biologist and computational geneticist interested in the mechanisms that drive speciation, diversification, and adaptation. My research combines genomics, statistics, and biogeography to understand how genetic variation is structured across species and landscapes.
🔬 Current research directions
I am developing models and computational approaches to:
- 📊 Explore the role of copy number variation in plant gene family evolution and adaptation
- 🧬 Detect local adaptation in plant genomes using structural variants and genome-environment associations
- 🌍 Assess the determinants of spatial patterns of genetic diversity, with applications for biodiversity conservation
🤝 Collaboration
I am always keen to collaborate on method development in evolutionary biology, population genetics, and biogeography — especially projects that integrate genomic big data with ecological and spatial frameworks.
