plugin pxl-scripts are wiped on disable; consider scm integration?

Hi, today I was trying to change my otel path in my cluster after making some scaling changes for my deployment and upon disabling the extension all of my custom pxl_scripts for the plugin were wiped! I've already brought up some concerns to the team about using this interface long term as it isn't supporting scm.

I'd love for these scripts to be better managed in the ui, or, better yet would be external scm integration so we can just use our github to manage the versions like other control-sensitive-text-based configurations/code.

For now, I will be trying to keep a git repo with these scripts up to date. I haven't checked if pulling/putting this script data is available in the api but I am not optimistic (iirc it is all related to script execution). I've also built my own script-executor we were going to use before the plugin system was launched, so we've thought of using that as a backup.

Hi @jdix531, we have been actively thinking about adding this to our system. So sorry for the issues that you ran into. I'll link the feature ticket to this shortly.
