I've been dreading this for at least a year, but I finally decided to bite the bullet and do it.
For another project of mine which I started a few months ago, I opted to go 100% KiCad just to force myself to learn it. Now that I'm semi-competent with it, and after AutoCAD announced what pretty much amounts to the end of Eagle as we know it, I have decided it's time for MAIANA to move over as well.
Unfortunately, migration is not possible with the current state of KiCad. Importing a project from Eagle does not create an editable board. So everything has to be forward-engineered. This will take me a long time, as I have other things on my plate as well.
If anyone reading this has gone through this process and has tips, by all means, please share!
