Have you read the Contributing Guidelines on issues?

Description

The release process has a number of automated steps, as discussed in RELEASING.md. This is prone to error, and could be automated.

The end goal should be that a tag is pushed, and the release is automatically created.

Has this been requested on Canny?

No response

Motivation

Simplify the release process, so that more frequent releases can be generated.

Have you tried building it?

Yes, have a functional example in my fork.

  • I'd be willing to contribute this feature to Pact Python myself.
