Issue with Bootstrap sites #4

I've tried to implement this on several Bootsatrap v4 and v5 websites, it breaks on all of them. The open button is chubby and the chatbox is always cutoff at the top. Using a very basic starter templete, see image for results.

I don't know if my problem is also due to the use of bootstrap, but I can't get it to work properly. It doesn't allow me to select the text input form to send messages. I can hit send, but I can't send any text.
