Did you try it? It works for me. For example I set the prefix to U+03b1 and it seems to work fine. From my ~/.tmux.conf:

No, you tried using Ctrl-ç. For that character to with with a Ctrl modifier requires your terminal and Tmux to support extended modifiers. Historically the Ctrl modifier only worked with a subset of the ASCII characters. See the Tmux P.S., If you remove the |

Hello,
Is is possible to set prefix to a non latin 1/utf8 character? I googled this issue and found very old replies in stackoverflow from 2012 etc, stating that not possible. I am asking here to reach a definitive answer for anyone needing this. If possible, how can I do it.
