Hello,

We are considering establishing fiber photometry in the lab.

Is there a quick way to price the Red/Green setup if built from scratch and using Gen 3 minicubes + pyPhotometry v2?

How much does the setup using Gen 3 minicubes differ from the original set of components listed here https://pyphotometry.readthedocs.io/en/latest/resources/optical-components/?

Are there any downsides of using Gen 3 compared to Gen2 and 1 (apart from removing the filters/rings)?

Apologies for the delay getting back to you. For pricing information using Doric hardware you will need to contact Doric for a quote for the parts listed in the docs.

We recently ordered a system based on the Gen 2 red/green minicube and paid $7,375 for the minicube with annother ~$1K for the rotary joint and holder.

We have continued to use the Gen2 minicubes because they are cheaper and we have more experience with them.
