Question
On some Android 16 devices the suggested version of YouTube linked by revanced on apk mirror cannot be installed with "package appears to be invalid" error. Tried alternate versions from various sources and any version of YouTube below 20.34.37 cannot be installed with the same "package appears to be invalid" error.
I have seen discussions on reddit where some people had the same issue while others on android 16 were able to successfully use the suggested 20.14.43 version. I'm very curious why this only affects some people.
If it matters I have a Oneplus 12r on android 16 with the latest official firmware named cph2611_16.0.1. 300(ex01)
Thanks for your advice.
Acknowledgements
