Remove the blockers for getting boosters/quickstarts testable on openshift.io #648
Comments
@ldimaggi in the scheme of testing priorities for OSIO, where do you see this sitting? P1? P2? Lower? |
Quickstart tests - to run the build pipeline - are running here: |
@ldimaggi I'm confused (sorry) the issues outlined by Max in the description are still open but you have some tests running. Can you update the issues (even description) to clarify what this is asking for or close it if you feel it's done. |
Doh - sorry for the confusion - Max's issues are still open. |
@maxandersen what's the status of this? Some quickstarts work, some do not. I'm not sure what how testable any of them are in OSIO. The referenced issues have not been touched in awhile (fabric8-launcher/launcher-planning#10 untouched in 9 month). |
I'm working with the RHOAR folks (tomorrow, as it turns out) to incorporate this test - https://github.com/fabric8io/fabric8-test/blob/master/ee_tests/src/specs/booster_pipeline.spec.ts - incorporated in to their tests to verify the operation of the boosters in OSIO. Stay tuned - at least some of the boosters do not work in OSIO as of today: #1880 |
@qodfathr it's a problem of too many issues open in too many places. I'm getting clarification from the guys, but from Arquillian Cube perspective, our work is completed. Second item is on RHOAR/Booster side, also getting info on that. |
Summary of running RHOAR boosters on OSIO (import, execute build pipeline)

@ldimaggi can you break down what kind of issues we are facing in those builds in the comment above? I see several different problems including wrong build profile, license plugin for Maven, Fabric8 Maven Plugin, Enforcer Plugin and test errors. |
I'm not sure what's wrong with the circuit breaker boosters - it seems to have this problem - Cannot extract generator config - at it core.
For the configmap boosters, the problem look like a failed dependency on Arquillian:
For the REST HTTP boosters, the problem look like a failed dependency on a Hibernate server:
For the "secured" boosters, the problem is that an SSO server is assumed/required ("SSO_AUTH_SERVER_URL is missing")
