Quick preview covers the toolbar. As a user, I would like access to the entire toolbar row. Options like Show Completed, Show Tree are hidden.

@nimishamukherjee,
Here are my thoughts:

  1. Fly-out i.e. quick preview displayed ONLY if the user click on any work-item which means his primary focus is on the "quick preview".

  2. User can access only those actions that they can view. If user wants to act on any other hidden controls (beneath the quick preview pane) then the 'quick preview" panel has to be closed. We referred the behaviour across other similar applications to verify this, they too are acting the same way as we do.

@Veethika anything that you would like to add?

User can access the actions only the one's which he/she can view. If user wants to act on any other hidden controls (beneath the quick preview pane) then the 'quick preview" panel has to be closed. We went through Github and Project place to cross check, they too are acting the same way as we do.

@sunilmalagi consider this use case - I'm look at the quick preview of one work item. I want to keep the preview open and perform some more filtering to look at related items

On a side note - I don't think what we call quick preview is actually quick preview :)
