[BUG] Toggle column in Discover closes active document

When I click on the 'Toggle in Column' button, the expanded document closes. This requires me to reopen it each time, making it difficult to compare the documents effectively.

This issue is related to GitHub Issue #4610.

Can we plz keep the document expanded and allow scrolling to a specific point.
