Comparisons with Metida.jl could be interesting

I just got pointed to https://github.com/PharmCat/Metida.jl by @PharmCat. Would be cool to try it out, maybe it could be helpful to get ideas e.g. for random effects addition, or another implementation that we could compare against when implementing new features, covariance structures etc.
