Yes, I feel the same, and thank you for your comment, now I know (sort of) what can be done to streamline it.

Partially done. I remove unnecessary lock / unlock input scenario clicks.

Outstanding problem (bug):
If user edit multiple parameters, open parameter note editor and switch tab to other parameter then note editor is carried to that other parameter.
Note editor should either be closed if user switch tabs during editing or note editor should save state for each parameter tab.
