The Data Product Descriptor Specification (DPDS) is a community-driven open specification that declaratively defines a data product in all its components using a JSON or YAML descriptor document. It is released under Apache 2.0 license. Contributions from the data community are welcomed!
This GitHub project is the starting point for DPDS. Here you will find the information you need about the Data Product Descriptor Specification, simple examples of what it looks like, and some general information regarding the project.
The current version of the DPDS is Data Product Descriptor Specification v1.0.0. A reader-friendly version of the specification can be found on our project site.
This repository also contains all previous versions.
Each folder in this repository, such as examples and schemas, contains folders pertaining to the current and previous versions of the specification.
