Purging a directory does not Purge metadata of children

## Steps to reproduce
0. use posixfs
1. Create `dir/file.txt`
2. Trash `dir`
3. Purge `dir` from trash. 

## Expected behavior
cache should no longer know `dir/file.txt`

## Actual behavior
cache still knows all children
